Our collaborative team of cancer care professionals is here to guide you and your family through every step — from making appointments, screening, treatment planning, treatment, education, psycho-social support and beyond. Each team member strives to ensure you and your family receive optimal treatment plans and all needed support services. Clinical Trial Team

  • Oncology Research Nurses — In partnership with local oncologists, enroll eligible patients into clinical trials, providing education and support throughout their participation.

Complementary Medicine

  • Integrative Medicine Services Staff engaged in creating an innovative program of complementary care and education for inpatients and outpatients. Offerings are to include approaches such as meditation, guided imagery, music, healing touch and massage.

Education and Outreach

  • Education and Outreach Staff dedicated to providing educational seminars and workshops on a variety of topics, including screening, treatment and survivorship.

GCM-Suburban Imaging

  • Patient Liaison A specially trained staff member who supports and coordinates services for women having mammograms and breast biopsies at GCM-Suburban Imaging.

Genetic Counseling

  • Genetic Counseling Services A team of professionals specially trained in genetics to counsel you and your family members who may be at high risk of developing breast, ovarian or other cancers.

Infusion Services (Outpatient)

  • Nurse Care Coordinator/Navigator The nurse care coordinator provides support and educate patients about their disease and its treatment, enabling them to more confidently make decisions and cope with their illness.
  • Oncology Nurses Experienced staff who provide education about your treatment and help you through chemotherapy or radiation treatment.
  • Receptionists Caring and friendly staff who make appointments for you and help guide you to our facility and staff, with proper paperwork in hand.

Inpatient Services

  • Dietician A licenced oncology specialist  who provides one-on-one counseling to patients on healthy eating throughout cancer treatment.
  • Nurse Care Coordinator/Navigator The nurse care coordinator provides support and educates patients about their disease and its treatment, enabling them to more confidently make decisions and cope with their illness.
  • Oncology Nurses Experienced staff who provide education about your treatment and help you through chemotherapy or radiation treatment.
  • Pain Management and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Nurse Practitioner who specializes in providing support and education in pain management and palliative care, working in collaboration with physicians and other nursing staff to help manage symptoms in patients with chronic illness or end of life needs.

Nutrition

  • Dietitian A licenced oncology specialist who provides one-on-one counseling to patients on healthy eating throughout cancer treatment.

Radiation Oncology

  • Dietitian A licenced oncology specialist  who provides one-on-one counseling to patients on healthy eating throughout cancer treatment.
  • Dosimetrist Specially trained and licensed staff who works closely with the radiation oncologist and physicist to plan your radiation treatment and calculate your radiation doses.
  • Nurse Care Coordinator/Navigator The nurse care coordinator provides support and educates patients about their disease and its treatment, enabling them to more confidently make decisions and cope with their illness.
  • Oncology Nurses Experienced staff who provide education about your treatment and help you through chemotherapy or radiation treatment
  • Physicist On-site, certified professional who oversees the radiation planning process and assures quality control.
  • Radiation Oncologists Physicians who will meet with you to discuss and implement your radiation treatment options, as well as direct other staff in the treatment plan.
  • Radiation Therapists Specially trained, board certified and state licensed staff who you will see daily and they will position you and deliver your daily radiation treatment under the direction of the radiation oncologist.
  • Receptionists Caring and friendly staff who make appointments for you and help guide you to our facility and staff, with proper paperwork in hand.

Social Work

  • Clinical Oncology Social Workers Provide counseling, resources, facilitate support groups, and psycho-educational programs for cancer patients and their families.
