A snapshot look at the Numbers shows that in 2010, Suburban Hospital's patients and caregivers benefited from nearly $3.5 million in new gifts, pledges, and payment distributions from more than 2,600 generous donors in the community. These gifts, which will improve facilities, purchase new technology, support clinical programs and education, and expand our outreach, came from 2,382 individuals, 81 physicians, and 142 corporations and foundations. Likewise, tribute gifts, numbering well over 240 and generating $87,500, offer special support for programs and services while, at the same time, memorializing or honoring a family member, friend, staff member, or physician.
