Leslie Ford Weber joined Suburban as Executive Vice President of the Suburban Hospital Foundation in 2004 and was also named Senior Vice President of Government and Community Relations for Suburban Hospital in 2008. During her tenure, average contributions to Suburban Hospital rose to more than $7.5 million annually from an annual average of $4.3 million in the preceding five years and the number of total donors to the organization has risen steadily. In her dual role, Ms. Weber coordinates the legislative agenda at the state and federal level and manages multiple relationships with the local executive and legislative branches and community organizations. Ms. Weber was recently installed as chairman-elect of The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce. She has also served as the Chamber’s vice president of education and community development.
Prior to coming to Suburban, Ms. Weber held fundraising and alumni relations positions at Pine Manor College, Georgetown University, American University and the University of Maryland, College Park. She was also a Vice President of Grenzebach, Glier and Associates consulting with clients in independent secondary and higher education, museums, and healthcare. Ms. Weber received her BA degree from the University of Michigan and also holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
