Our staff create individualized and goal-oriented treatment programs using the latest evaluation and treatment intervention techniques. Each patient's progress is followed closely throughout the regimen, and communicated to the patient's physician. If needed, in conjunction with the patient's personal physician, consulting physician specialists include internists, neurologists, pulmonologists, physiatrists, otolaryngologists, gastroenterologists, and pediatricians. Traumatic Brain Injury — (Adolescent and adult) Computer-enhanced therapy focuses on memory, concentration and attention, problem-solving, organization and reading comprehension.
Cerebrovascular Accident — Treatment addresses language deficits, cognitive deficits, word finding problems and dysarthria.
Swallowing Disorders — Treatment includes videofluroscopic evaluations, consultations with dietitians, an oral motor exercise program, Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing - FEES, and special guidelines for the elderly.
