Program Overview

Suburban Hospital combines comprehensive orthopedic services with excellent patient care and achieves outstanding results for our patients. One of the hallmarks of our service is the Suburban Hospital’s Joint Replacement Program, which is one of the busiest in Montgomery County. Our program performed more than 700 procedures last year and is a patient-focused program that aims to return patients to an active lifestyle as quickly as possible.

The Orthopedic program is supported by expert physicians and nurses. Our staff orthopedic physicians provide a wide range of orthopedic surgery expertise for both in-patients and out-patients. Suburban Hospital’s orthopedic service line is supported by experienced nurses and staff in our Operating Room, Diagnostic Center and Rehabilitation Program. Our service also provides orthopedic support and expertise to the hospital’s Level II Trauma Center.

Rehabilitation support is also available to both in-patients and out-patients. Comprehensive care is available for physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We also have specialty services for stroke patients, driving evaluations, biofeedback, and orthotic fabrication.

Our diagnostic services complement the rehabilitation services. As part of the diagnostic program physiatry services address orthopedic, neurological, and pain diagnoses.
