Fall Programs Support Cancer Initiatives
This fall, hundreds of individuals from throughout the community joined the fight against cancer by participating in Suburban Hospital's 24th Annual Auxiliary Golf Tournament at Woodmont Country Club and the 11th Annual Key to the Cure™ shopping event at Saks Fifth Avenue. In addition to offering participants a beautiful day of golf and an exciting evening of fashion and food, the two events raised nearly $200,000 for cancer care programs at Suburban Hospital.
Over the past several years, Suburban Hospital has strengthened its commitment to assuring a comprehensive approach to cancer care. Donor-supported funds provide oncology nurse navigators to help patients and families manage the complexity of care, as well as advanced technology and specialized programming to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
