Meets second Tuesday of each month
This is a support group designed for former smokers who want assistance in their journey to remain tobacco free. Join Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Tobacco Use Prevention and Cessation specialists to share information on how to stay tobacco free. Registration is not required, but encouraged. Coping with Fatigue During and Following Breast Cancer Treatment
One Session | Free
Join us for this special presentation by Dr. Lillian Nail, Rawlinson distinguished professor in nursing at Oregon Health and Science University, an internationally known expert in the field of cancer survivorship, and breast cancer survivor. Dr. Nail will examine the impact of fatigue, a common and sometimes long-lasting side effect of treatment, as well as discuss ways women can improve coping with this problem. Offered as part of the ongoing Breast Cancer Support Group; sponsored by The Maryland Affiliate Nursing Partnership; Advancing Education and Practice; a grant funded by The Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
