Susan F. Stinson, MD
Dr. Stinson is a graduate of Tufts University. She received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and was an intern in internal medicine at the Faulkner Hospital in Boston. She completed a residency at the National Cancer Institute in Radiation Oncology and has been certified by the American Board of Radiology since 1991. She has been practicing radiation oncology in Montgomery County since 1990. Experienced in treating all types of cancer, particularly breast cancer, soft tissue sarcoma, aerodigestive malignancies and skin cancer, she also has significant experience treating benign conditions such as Grave’s Ophthalmopathy and keloids.
Stephen C. Greco, MD
A graduate of the University of Virginia, Dr. Greco received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School. He completed a residency at Baylor College of Medicine and has been certified by the American Board of Radiology since 1997. He has a special interest in conformal radiation treatment techniques. With widespread clinical expertise, he has a particular interest in the treatment of prostate cancer including extensive experience in prostate seed implantation. Additionally, he trained at the institution that treated the first patient with IMRT in 1994.
Laurie L. Herscher, MD
Dr. Herscher graduated from Stanford University. She received her medical degree from George Washington University. After interning in Baltimore, she returned to complete her residency training at the National Cancer Institute in Radiation Oncology. She has been board-certified since 1994. She remained at the NCI as an attending physician, where her research interests focused on combined modality treatment of advanced cancers, especially head and neck and digestive tract cancers, as well as on developing therapies for chronic radiation side effects. She joined Suburban in 2002.
